It's the same setup as an LSX car but the truck coils are a little bit stronger on the spark sideOriginally posted by Syn View Posti vote coils it'll look like a ls1 almost, you could find some ls1 coils for prolly 100 bucks with harness

I want to do the coil packs too. I was at LKQ the other day. They have alot of newer 3.8 v6s cars that have coil packs that look similar to the LS1 packs. I wonder if those will work. You could pick those up for basically free if they are the same design.

I did a good ammount of reading on it last night, looks like its going to be pretty costly
Its possible that just my cap and rotor are bad in my opti but replacing the entire thing isnt much more.
Right now i think i am going to get the barebones delteq that mounts down low, i prefer my engine bay clean. I'll buy my own coilpacks.
Kyle would you happen to know the part number for the GM truck coilpacks? I havent found anyone else that has used those so far but thats a fantastic idea.-Joel
