Well as of June 15, 2008 I officially pronounce my optispark to be dead. My car is running so completely terrible, it cannot possibly be anything else. Im running on 7 or less cylinders 95% of the time, and it is backfiring and sputtering constantly. It has gone from bad to much worse in the past 36 hours, starting at my sisters graduation party where we basically were having a burnout contest and I got to show off my 7 cylinder wonder

Car is decomissioned as of today. The V6 will be wearing its shoes for the time being. Probably wont be on the road again for over a month because im going to swap the cam while its apart and i dont have the money for that yet

now i get to decide... MSD or GM?

MSD is pretty much the same price as a GM right? Why wouldn't you go with that?

MSD would be a good choice...

This system has the ability to have a Nitrous retard in it.
This makes it better than the DeletQ system.
It still uses the optical sensor signal from the opti.

                  http://www.bailey-eng.com/LTCC.html

There is a 2nd system out there called deletQ:
                  http://www.delteq.com/

Here is a system that I found also, don't know much about it:

For some dumb reason i thought Delteq went out of business. LTCC was the one i knew was out there but hadnt done any reading on yet, thanks!

Im going to do my comparisons this week and make a decision... i think thats definitely the route im going to go. Coilpacks FTW.
