    get the aluminum one. Yeah, drive slow, don't wanna take out a pinion bearing or a tranny bearing in the tailshaft. So is your stock one a 2 piece then?

            I would, but I'm on a budget, and I can't find one that I can get tomorrow if I order today. I need to fix this NOW. Anybody know where I can pick one up here in MI for under $150? The two peice driveshaft was actually recalled a few years ago and replaced with another design that didn't have any flaws. Except that it sucked donkey nuts lol

              Yes, I do want the Aluminum one, I wouldn't waste my money on a POS steel one that is the same as the one that GM sells. It weighs like 2x as much as the aluminum one. Any suppliers?

                    I just bought one of them. I hope it arrives soon, because I can only use my car for the express purpose of getting to and from school, and nothing else. I'm stuck driving Mom's Aurora this weekend. Thanks alot! Do you guys want pics of the install? I'll also post some pics of the old one before and after I remove it. Thank's for the link, homes!

                        It's my mom's, so I'm thinking no. . . I love that car too, but I love my camaro more. . . Mom ran the aurora into some landscaping bricks a while back, and it's not the best looking. I'm all about appearance lol She also isn't much for cleaning out her car, so it is full of sh** at all times. I love the 4.0 V8, but I loathe the noise that the tires make, it's got runflats on it, so they kind of hum really loudly at any speed above 25mph. I like it for the luxury, but not for the status symbolism that is provided by my camaro. lol

                          The Cutlass ain't mine either it's my dads he's trying to sell it anyway it's still in Detroit, but your mom smashed the aurora so nevermind. Also luxury vehicles have a higher status in society than muscle/sport cars, it's just that we still love to go fast in our cars on weekends and drive luxury during the week.

                            ya but the problem is both have bad resale value...lol sports cars and luxury cars are the worst for that....the second the next model comes out a little faster or a little nicer the previous model drops down almost in half alot of times... before i bought my last car i was thinking of getting a caddy... was a 2 door sporty looking sts i think it might have been it was 04 and all they wanted was 9,000 for it with less that 35,000 miles on the thing i asked why so cheep... its because the people with money for luxury cars usually buy the next model when it comes out so the market for the previous year isnt high at all... atleast not for people with money...lol

                                I just drove the Aurora to pick up some fast food, and I almost got killed! I was making a left turn off of Main, a 4-lane road, when all of a sudden, a blue sunfire comes flying off of the road I was turning onto, running a stop sign when I had none! I locked up the brakes, threw it in reverse, and floored it just in time to avoid being t-boned. Ignorant Bi***s! I hate driving that car because nobody respects me in it. When I'm in the orange Camaro, I demand respect. When I'm in the Aurora, I am being pushed around by people who think I have a 3.1 V6. 4.0 V8, my peeps! You'd better recognize! lol The front end isn't banged up too bad. Just needs a little paint, no cracks in the bumper or anything. Everything else about the car is pristine!
