Yeah, that was the first thing I checked. Dad has a 76 Datson 280Z, and I drove it to a friend's house. Every time I turned a corner, the car would start shaking violently. I got to his house, and lo and behold, three of the four lugnuts on the front left wheel had already fallen off and the fourth was loose! Exact same symptoms, but different cause. I learned my lesson then, so I torque my lugnuts on the camaro about once a month now, just to be safe. Oh, yeah. I replaced my Flux Capacitor yesterday, too. That wasn't it. I recall Napoleon Dynamite, when their "Time Machine" didn't work. Funny stuff. It could be the crystals, right? lol

Yeah, I thought that the shops would charge to search the car to find out what is wrong. I know that the body shops around will give free estimates, but I didn't know of any mechanics shops that would. I'll call around this week and find out.

Oh yeah, it happened twice today when I went to pick up some groceries. Doesn't happen as much as it did last week, but it's still there.

You should take your car to Ray's Auto. ON the hill by the Palmyra Speedway on 223. By the old Teepee bar. He is a good mechanic and he is very reasonable. Plus you can take a look at his '68 Maros. They are sweet! You can call him for info at (517)265-1553. He fixed my Jimmy up great! I couldn't even get it to start. I had several mechanics look at it and they couldnt help. I took it to him. He gave it a tune up my daily drivers back to normal!

Anybody think a worn/destroyed driveshaft grommet thingy may cause this? I saw a little round thingy, looked like a bent washer, just sitting on the driveshaft. I don't know what it is or anything. I would also appreciate more options as to what could be the culprit.

At this point the problem could be almost anywhere along the drive line. Maybe pics of this washer? This could be the trans or the driveshaft outta balance. My car when I first bought it would go 90 without any shakes or vibration but I got a used trans from one of the guys that lives over here and now it vibrates like a B##ch.

No, it used to be $888,000. NOW it's only like $115,000. . . I just ordered a new muffler bearing and tire oil so I con get rid of the shaking. . . I told a couple of friends @ school to check their blinker fluid regularly, and they were like "I think my dad just changed it. ." The funny part- THEY WERE SERIOUS!

Help Me! Somehow my car started to shake even worse, and now it makes a loud knocking noise! I think it is coming from the engine or trans, but the sound could be deceptive! I really need some suggestions!
