  • So who is ordering a 5th gen?

So who all is planning to order one, or knows someone who is?

My buddy Randy (some of you met him at Superfest) told me this weekend that his wife asked him to order a new Camaro. She's planning to sell her Trailblazer and drive his Fusion, so that he can have the Camaro. How cool is that?

He's going to place the order as soon as he can. (Can you order them now? He asked me, I didn't know for sure.)

    Anyone else planning on it?

The dealerships are taking deposits to be on the list right now I'm pretty sure. There's a dealer on Camaro5.org that has in his sig that all Camaros sold through him will be at MSRP and no dealer markup, but he's not in MI.

I definitely want to buy one. I'm not sure when, but as soon as I can. I should be graduating from college in 2010 I think so maybe I'll get one as a grad present?

my dad has had one bought and paid for for over a year, him and the lady at the dealership did some kentucky math and figured out roughly how much the new camaro would retail for, so they just kept putting in order after order till it took. but i think he decided to wait a year for the convertable, hes keeping the order in i believe. but he is a persistand faulker! this is also how he got his 35th, he had no idea what it ws going to look like but he still put the order in. oh and FYI i know its a violation for a dealer to put the orders in so soon but they still did it for my dad. also todd (tenpin) can back this up!

        Eh, not sure.

$40,000 will buy an awfully nice 1st/2nd gen that will only appreciate as it gets older.
