Really digging how the car looks, Brian! I have to agree with your dad, keep the wheels how they are.

Thanks guys! Took a bunch of new photos today in some scenic locations. Thankfully had the sun out so it could really pop.

Spotted another 2014 while we were parking for lunch, of course I had to park next to them.

I gotta say this a huge upgrade over your last car, and im definitely partial to the new color . The 2014 refresh is starting to grow on me i hated it before.

For the wheels I'm only in favor of changing to black if they are 1LE/ZL1 wheels. Leave these alone they are better in chrome.

I'm really torn on the wheels. I don't have the money to be buying new rims, so best case scenario would be to use plastidip and do some sort of black accent to the rims or paint them black but leave a polished lip. I do have black bowtie vinyl on the way already as it is.

Painted spoiler (Red Rock Metallic, factory color) is on the way and will be delivered soon... I might immediately paint it in plastidip so it'll have a matte black look to it. I figure I'd get it in RRM (factory color) first, so if I ever decide that I don't want it to be matte black then I can return to the factory color.

Anywho, here's some more scenic photos we took today while up north.

It definitely needs the rear spoiler, looking forward to seeing your choice of black or body color. I am torn on that one?

If Red Alert would stop being a hooptie I'd drive it more often. We do have the GM Employee Car Show this Wednesday at the Tech Center and I'll be taking Red Alert instead of the 5th gen.

Saw a 5th Gen in this color yesterday, wow. I cannot speak highly enough of how this color looks on the 14s. Very sharp!
