Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
If you have extra dip, hit that back part of the fascia if it is more of the dark gray plastic, instead of black. You also can use tire shine on it, that may do it without even having to paint it.
Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z
Got the car tinted today. Big props to DJ's tint shop down in Eastpointe. We dropped the car off at 9am and before 10am they were calling me telling me the car was ready to be picked up.
20% sun strip and front windows, limo tint rear windows.
This afternoon I went and painted my spoiler matte black with plastidip too. Cosmetically the car is pretty much done. Not too much more that I want to do.
I'm happy with it matte black for now - but thanks to the plastidip I can always peel it off if I want to go back to factory color. Cosmetically I think it's pretty much done.
gonna do anything with the tails, or leave them red?

Yeah, that's one of the few remaining mods I'm on the fence about. I think the bright red taillights clash with the darker red. There's a company, big worm graphics, that sells a package for about $120 that will tint your headlights, taillights, front and rear side markers, 3rd brake light, etc. I'm tempted to do it, but I don't want it to be too dark.
I don't see enough of a difference on the front to justify the cost, but definitely do the tails! And you could probably just as easily do the side markers yourself with tint film. I used a $3 sheet that I got on ebay for my Mazda, and it turned out great (and has held up very well in the year+ it's been on there)
