looks good. nice and shiny. one question i have is that on thirdgen one guy used the stock plenum and such and he lost power in higher rpm's from his 383. he was still putting down good numbers but there was substaintial loss. im just hoping you dont have the same problem

Thanks guy my dad just found a storage unit for his car so now I'll have room to work on the car in the garage during the winter, and we should be bringing up the motor upstairs soon!

Well because it is not a holly stealth ream intake I'll probably loose power still, but I do have an edelbrock scoggin dicky vortex intake manifold, and 52mm TB. Who knows maybe down the road I'll change to the holly stealth ram or better than the stock plenum.

The TPI is definitely going to limit that 383, theres no doubt about it. However, it will be a low-end torque monster.

I replaced the front brake line with new stainless steel ones, got part of the wire harness out back together, and put the new steering shaft back on then I was able to drop the car to the ground and moved it around so I have room to work on it in the garage during the winter. The next big thing is to bring the motor up and get it put together!

My dad and I got the ac/heater box back on and started to tackle the wiring, also we got the brake booster and master cylinder together then hooked the brake line up to them.

I know I haven't been on here a lot, but I'm really busy with school. However I have been able to make a little progress every once in a while. So here it goes: I gotten the motor upstairs in the garage, after a lot of grinding and test fitting I finally got the brackets to line up with the bolts on the heads and cleaned them up and painted them. I've also had to clock the alternator and paint a bunch of other small parts. So that's where I am right now just working on getting the motor ready to be put in.IMG_4588.JPGIMG_4579.JPGIMG_4578.JPGIMG_4591.JPGIMG_4589.JPG

Thanks Darren I'm hoping to get the rest of the parts I need for the motor soon so I can mock everything up then get it in the car.

My dad suggested it, I didn't know if I was going to like them blue but after seeing them on there I think it's better than silver like I had before.
