Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
i cannot remember the username, but he did register here AFTER the dyno day so he is a relatively new member. Brian should know his name because he was enthusiastically passing out mifbody propaganda at the dream cruise
edit: I think it had the 75ish style tail lights so im guessing its not the car, but i could be wrong. in any case its very very similar.
Nice looking car.............I'd start with his insurance co., if he's had the same agent thru the years there's a slight chance they may have a vin # around still.......it's a slight chance, but what do you have to lose??
That's a good idea, especially if he's been there since he was 16...
How long ago did he sell it? Does he even have a name?
You really need a VIN...with a VIN you can go through the Secretary of State and see if it's been sold in the last 10 years...if it has they'll be able to give you a complete owner trail for that time period.
Without a VIN, or if it hasn't sold in the last 10 years, you can run down their name through People Finder or something similar, but that will be just a bit more time consuming.
When I was looking for a car, I test drove one exactly like that one except for a 4-speed...

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
Good luck on your search and if I see it I'll let you know.

nope completely different year... full front bumper and different tailights, plus a different graphic scheme. That one is a four speed too if i remember right, its a nice car.
I have GOT to get mine going next season. All these pics of '79s are killing me (well, that, the bills, truck, "bird, etc [you get the idea]). Good luck on the search, but don't let them bring your buying price up to $250k.
