what do you want to do with the car? If you aren't going to road race it or stress the brakes much, just do stock stuff. I HATE my Hawk HPS pads, complete junk IMO. They squeal when they get hot and faded on me after a single lap at the track eventually resulting in complete brake failure with the pedal to the floor. If you aren't going to stress them, I would rebuild your already ground calipers and just replace worn parts. If you want to get into braking, looking into a real pad and address the lines and fluid. Stock replacement rotors are fine, all the rest are for looks unless you get into the big dollar stuff where slotted will help with your cooling, drilled is for the shows. If you want to get into it real, I can get you into a set of 14-15" Big Brakes with 6-8POT calipers for Corvettes that I'm sure could be mated up to your car as C5 brakes are frequently... but your wheels will need to accommodate. Hope this helps a little!

This what I was looking for.. Thanks Jonny.. I believe I will just get a couple stock rotors for the rear(my fronts are fine) and stock pads. Car is mainly a cruiser, I hit the drag strip now and then, have never road coursed it and quite honestly I know with the suspension mods I have it would not be road course friendly. I think I am going with the steel braided lines though..http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...=195&ModelID=8

Are duralast rotors any good? Autozone for 40 each.. Decided Jonny's advice was the best(not to mention the cheapest) option for me and what I use the car for.. Only buying rear rotors as front are like new..

I'm going with Jonny, gonna buy a new set of stock rear rotors and new stock pads all around... I don't race enough to make it worth the money...

Imagine you can access a variety of rotors too? Looking for aftermarket drilled Z06 (14") rotors and complimenting set for stock fbod rears.

so you want C6Z06 rotors? C5's are only 13", C6's are 14". I can get complete big brake kits, not replacement stock rotors though. But if you are interested in a front BBK, I can get in 14-15.5" rotors with 6-8 POT calipers that will make C6Z brakes feel like tinker toys

Doing a "V" brake conversion on my Camaro (already have the calipers)...looking for 14" aftermarket C6Z's, unless I can find a set of Z stockers cheap.

Ah IC, you don't really want stock Z rotors IMO... get something solid or slotted, ditch that drilled crap

For my intended use, drilled won't be an issue...maybe dimpled? Slotted are ugly, blanks are worse...more show than anything. Car may see a 5k miles a year when it gets rolling...
