Overall I am pleased with the new set up. The quality and fitment of the Speed Engineering stainless steel headers and Y-pipe is amazing and the price really can't be beat. I added some drilled 20GA steel straps in place of the stock exhaust skid plate support and managed to get 4.5" of ground clearence at the lowest point under the driver's side floor pan. Coupled with my LMII it has a good rumble to it with minimal rasp Id say, a little on the loud side but bearable.

Also couldn't be happier with my tune. He did a great job and the throttle response is excellent; its like driving a completely different car!
PewterPan - by chance, do you have SFC's on your vehicle also? If so, any chance you could post a pic of how the Speed Headers & Y hang compared to the SFC?

I actually just picked up a pair of boxed SFCs last night My plan is to try and install them this weekend.

Cool! I have UMI 3 points, so it wouldn't be apples-to-apples, but it'd give me an idea.

I am lowered already and my UMI's are closer to the ground than I'd like..if the exhaust setup is even lower, I may run into problems.

Yeah I got 4.5" clearence on stock ride hight and only because I tucked the back of the Y-pipe into the tunnel a bit.

^^^ Damn man, that car sure was purty.

I cleared the 5 emission codes on my car, then debated if I wanted to wash it. Well, it's still dirty.

Had an offer I would have been an idiot to say no to. Was able to get me into the car I have wanted for the past 9 years finally however!
