Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Ya man its been one thing after another. Went our last fall to the track. First pass was great and the motor had a bad hickup 100 few before the eighth mile. Did a leak down test on it and found that the guy that did my head work cut a few valve seats off center to the valve guide so the valve seats took a shit that pass. Had the heads done threw at a local machine shop here in flint 2 months ago and went out to the track 4 weeks ago to lapeer and my first 2 passes were good, afr was way rich so I was leaning it out and as I kept making a couple more passes I noticed it was revving threw the gears faster and faster and the car was getting slower lol
Took the trans apart and it blew the cast iron sealing ring out on the pump . So it's been one thing after another . It's all back together now and started it today and everything seems kosher now. .. that damn trans only had 11 passes on it . My trans guy took care of it. Kind of interesting learning how to build an auto. .. guess he's had a couple problems with cast sealing rings on some after market valve bodies with really high line pressure so we put Teflon seals on it now
Also welded my torque arm cross member into my Mwc sfc cause it was starting to rip the factory mounts off. Must be 265 ft lbs of torque
got the dipstick tube out! I guess it just needed to soak in the penetrating oil for a bit longer. Everything is tore down, hoping to have the headers by next weekend.

Changed my oil, put on my new set of track pads for this coming weekend, bled my brakes and clutch and filled with new AP600, cleaned underneath the car and checked bolts, Fred tested my brakes while I cleaned up the shop and promptly got pulled over!
