Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Saw this on other sites and didn't see ones here. These are lots of fun! If there is one already please lock this and direct me accordingly. I'll start.
....chirp chirp....oh yeah I stared at it lustfully and contemplated what else I want to do to it. I did remove the battery to get it tested .
I filled the camaro with gas. Pushed the fire bird into the transplant theater. After spending most of the day cleansing said operating theater of 3rd gen infestation. And first thing this am I had to swap out a leaking fuel filter on my Jeep. Im beat.
Editk oh yeah I washed that old bucket of bolts too
Back on jack stands.....still haven't touched the charging issue, I'm up north, it's dirty and I have to have it ready for a big trailer ride to Milwaukee by Wednesday

99 Trans am - SLP Air Take (LID) - Ported and Polished Throttle Body - LS6 Intake Manifold - 1 3/4 Long Tube Headers - 3" Y-Pipe - 3" Magnaflow Catback - Lower Control Arms
New pump , scarf cut sealing rings on the pump, new clutches on the forward drum and Rollerized the output shaft on my trans. Converter and trans are in now, driveshaft exhaust, both wideband sensors going in now and fill it up and try to go to track next weekend .
tear down was going smoothly up until I couldn't take the dipstick tube out. I tried soaking it at the base with penetrating oil and looped a rag under the bracket for more leverage, wiggled it for a while and pulled like hell and still nothing.
Any ideas?

Have you tried using leverage? Put a prybar between the tube and the block, the goal is to make sure all the power is being leveraged right at the bracket.
