  • [Project] What did you do to your car today?

Saw this on other sites and didn't see ones here. These are lots of fun! If there is one already please lock this and direct me accordingly. I'll start.

....chirp chirp....oh yeah I stared at it lustfully and contemplated what else I want to do to it. I did remove the battery to get it tested .

I filled the camaro with gas. Pushed the fire bird into the transplant theater. After spending most of the day cleansing said operating theater of 3rd gen infestation. And first thing this am I had to swap out a leaking fuel filter on my Jeep. Im beat.

Editk oh yeah I washed that old bucket of bolts too

bit the bullet and ordered a set of headers!

tear down was going smoothly up until I couldn't take the dipstick tube out. I tried soaking it at the base with penetrating oil and looped a rag under the bracket for more leverage, wiggled it for a while and pulled like hell and still nothing.

                      Any ideas?

Changed out the center link. Upon doing so noticed the inner tie rods are shot and theres a crack in the frame rail by the steering box. Fml.....

Have you tried using leverage? Put a prybar between the tube and the block, the goal is to make sure all the power is being leveraged right at the bracket.
