I'm thinking about a cutout... I'm thinking about chopping the y pipe where it necks down to 2.75 off and welding a 3 inch cutout there. But I'd have to use a reduced for the intermediate pipe because I believe that is 2.75 inches as well.
Or I just don't put one on and run it normally.
Or I just run an open y.
I'm going back home the 5th or 6th to put them on.. Maybe even this coming week. Sorry for being a Debbie downer..

I feel like an idiot lol. Oh well, 1-3 weeks won't be bad. I'm sure I'll be wrenching in no time!
I tripped on my cat.. she lays on the stairs at night. This is 3rd time I've fallen this year. I've been up here for a total of 3 weeks.. The third time's a charm.

Wait on the cutout. The good thing about them is they can be put on quite easily later on by any reputable exhaust shop. I have a loud exhaust and then put a cutout on a couple months ago and unless you plan on going to the track its not really worth the extra attention. Yeah it sounds cool but tickets don't bode well for anyones wallet1994 Z28 Black, M6, Hardtop, SLP Loudmouth I, GM Performance Cold-Air Intake, 96-97 SS spoiler, 17" x 9.5" Chrome Z06 Motorsports, Longtubes

Yeah, last thing i need is more attention. Campus PD at OU already knows me by name. They waved to me every time i came to school last year.
Shipping out my second PCM out when I get home next week for a tune while I put the headers on. Well that's the plan at least. What is a good number to have the fans come on at? I'm running a 160 thermostat and a standard water pump. I may go electric next year (doubt it). I was thinking 200 low, 215 high?sigpic

Rear end is leaking a little at the back cover by the looks of it. So I'm in the market for a replacement one since mine could be in better shape.. If anybody has one, let me know.
Edit: Never mind, don't need a new coverLast edited by DanDalessandro; June 30th, 2015, 08:17 AM.sigpic

I finally got the old PHB out around 9:30 pm. The jackass owner before me thought it would be a great idea to put a metric nut on an american bolt. I lost my phone somewhere in my house doh. So when I find it I'll upload the pic of it.
Does anybody know the size of the PHB bolts and nuts? I need new ones.sigpic

I would just take the phb into a hardware store with you for sizing. You definitely need to have that bolt diameter right and they should also be grade 8 hardened bolts.-Joel
