I didn't put them on, so the previous owner deserves a smack!

Should I be looking at summer tires? I don't plan on ever driving the car in the snow, unless I really have to.. I have a winter beater. I'm going to be driving the car spring to late fall.

Well winter tires would be weird on a summer only car soooooo......

What do you want out of it? Light to light? Twisties? Both?

Well, the plan is to not let the car sit in the driveway all summer. By light to light.. do you mean the strip? I'm not used to this lingo man. The car is my DD pretty much, no plans to really take it to the track.
What are twisties.. sorry for asking

Summer tires but if its a DD avoid getting a set that are rated completely useless in the rain

I have read good things about the Continental ExtemeContact DWS.

                  http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....emeContact+DWS

No direct experience with them, but I plan on going with the ExtemeContact DW (My car rarely sees rain and will never see snow)

Man, now that I am looking into them, I may have to consider the Riken's. Comfortable and quiet ride with them?

I've been reading reviews on them. A lot of people are saying they are great in wet and dry conditions. And there is not a lot of road noise.

Tirerack doesn't have them, seems like Belletire and Discount sells them though

Thats what i have and i will buy them again. Grip isnt the best but certainly not bad. Theyre quiet and predictable and they LAST. I bought mine used with about 70% tread... 4 years a LOT of holeshots later theyre only down to about 40-50%

Totally hijacking Dan's thread here, I hope he doesn't mind...

Sounds like they'd be a good fit for him as he'll be using his vehicle a lot more than me. Since June 2012, I think I have put a total of 7k miles on mine, max. Treadwear is a total non-issue for me. I am more concerned about ride quality, noise, and traction.
