The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I think the issue isn't so much to do with the depth as it is with the length of the lower 'valley' which is like 13.5, in comparison to the f-body's 11.5. I would imagine the cut into the K-member would be rather significant and probably take away a bit of integrity from it as well to fit that pan.
I knew the Corvette was longer, but I thought the F-body was deeper so I would gain some there. I see they are both 5" at the back but it looks like the F-body angles down a bit as it goes forward.
Pocket (on Thirdgen.org) made me a C100 harness to run the gauges. I requested it without loom so I could loom it with my mesh loom that I've been using on the rest of the car. I spliced the EOP and CTS sensor connectors to run the oil pressure and temperature gauges. 11127507_10152746060571850_268798146479323634_n.jpg
The 4th gen trans dipstick tube sticks up too far because the engine is half under the cowl, but it's going to be in my way for some engine accents I'm doing so I cut it down. I trimmed the dipstick by the same amount, but I couldn't cut the end off of it because it has the indicator marks on it, so I took the top apart, cut it down from the top, drilled the holes in the end and put it back together. 11109717_10152746060521850_4397168334436908377_n.jpg
