Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

These ones.. They are taller than stock.. Ran them because my roller rockers needed the clearance also.. They are in overall good condition.. One of the bolts was over tightened and there is a small crack on the inside.. Fixed with jb weld.. But all in all good shape
It's pretty cool to see someone playing around with the TPI stuff. I just bought a 91 Z28 with a 350 TPI. I will be watching this thread. I have heard that they run pretty good with some aluminum heads off of the TPI Corvettes, and some porting of the TPI. Are there still guys around locally that burn the chips for these cars?
Jeremy, do you have a height measurement for those black ones? I think those are the ones I find on eBay but might be only .25" taller than stock. I might be just on that cusp with my rockers.

these are the ones I have.. they say 1/4" more.. but when my buddy and I did the research for them we were told there shouldn't be any fitment issues with 1.5 or 1.6 roller rockers. I was running crane gold race series 1.5 rockers with these and no issues.
I bought some Billet Specialties Tall Valve Covers. They might work but I noticed the PCV hole in the covers is 1.220 inches and does not fit the oem PCV. I found some 1.220 inch breathers but how would this affect the leftover oem PCV stuff on the engine? Would I be able to plug that into the breather or do I have to scrap the PCV if I go with a breather?

Motor will be fired June 20 at my brother-in-law's shop. His run stand is for carb motors only so we bolted a late TBI intake onto the block. I bought an adapter plate and we're putting a Holley 2-barrel 500 cfm Carb on it for the break-in. Should be awesome. The TPI will go on with the car's harness.
Looks good man!! I would do the typical tpi mods if you can to squeeze out some more flow from the unit itself. I don't know if you have or not. Either way, that engine looks pretty!!
She runs great! Not Lopey in the video but she will have a little thump with the exhaust all on. Very pleased with the outcome. image.jpg image.jpg
I was worried about this clearance because the oil pan was not third gen specific but a little heat wrap will do the trick.
I wish our schedules lined up better so I could get some hands on with this thing. I know it's a MPITA, and I appreciate you doing this along with everything else.
