a few posts back I posted something on the lines of needing to get the car out of the garage asap for a party, and Andy just so happened to have a low mileage 9 bolt that he offered me, so I sold off the posi stuff I bought, and just swapped in the 9 bolt instead.

New shocks are on, sway bar and end links are on, I have the LCAs out so I can get the new bushings in.. all that's left is getting the calipers cleaned up and put back on, and get the torque arm bushing in, should be on the road here real quick

Swapped in the new 9 bolt today, its only barely bolted in, just so I can roll it out of the garage, after I get my new shocks and bushings it'll be bolted in completely

Picked up my new rear end this weekend, thanks Speedfreak391! It was nice to meet you Andy. So the plan is to get the rear end bolted up in place on wed or thurs this week, this will be at the moment just to get in on all 4 wheels so I can push the car out of the garage, so not drivable just yet (I need to replace all the bushings and everything first).

The next step after this weekend (having a party at our house, which is why I need to be able to push the car out of the garage), is to buy the new shocks and bushings. after that car should be drivable! woohoo!

I'll be posting updates here of it being back on all four wheels.

So I know everyone is waiting on the edge of their seat for progress on this.

A lot of stuff has been going on lately at home, scrambling like crazy to get the house ready before the baby gets here. We also had a lot to do before my wife's baby shower/my diaper party. We are having family from out of town and some are staying with us for like a week, and a BBQ at our house, so needless to say that my wife wants the house to look good. soooo.. that is where all of my time has been lately. I did manage to refinish 3 bedrooms and our living rooms hardwood floors and am in the process of retrimming all the rooms. but zero work has been done to the T/A as of late.. but that all changes this weekend! woohoo!

So for the BBQ at our house my wife and I decided it makes sense to use our garage to keep all the food, so that we don't have a ton of people inside jammed in our small kitchen, so that means one way or another the T/A needs to have a rear end put in it so it can be rolled around, perfect excuse to get something done to the car! This weekend I should be picking up the (new to me) posi rear end and installing it, I'll be replacing the bushings and shocks while I'm at it. and then the car will be officially driveable haha! about time!

I'll keep everyone up to date on the progress.

little to no progress.. just wanted to comment lol

just need to find some time to do stuff, I put the rear end up on a set of saw horses to make it easier to work on, I pulled the torque arm, lca's, and track bar? off.. I attempted to pull the shocks.. but they are crazy rusted on.. so I will probably cut them off.. new shocks will come with new bolts and stuff anyways.. so not a huge deal..

hopefully I get to work on it here in the next few days.. gonna pull the sway bar and all the brake stuff off so I can start cleaning the housing and removing all the rust.. and then finally doing the rebuild haha
