Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Yeah Monday sounds good.
As for Ken I have spoke to him he has promised to return all parts as well as money he took with out actually doing the work.
I have most of my parts I still need a couple front springs and my cam spec sheet and the money he owes me. I hope he follows through with what he says.
Ken told me to buy part number 7795-16 comp pushrods, they are 7.375 in length. Well this morning I tear off my valve cover to pull the rockers, he told me to buy that I cant use and guess what. The push rods in my car are 7.400 comp. So where did my push rods go?

in another build or sold for cash to line his pockets... we haven't even tore into Jakes engine yet, and Im sure we are going to find the same thing. Steve, we learn that sometimes things get worse before they get better, chin up, and take on one speed bump at a time.

Maybe your store messed up and sent you the wrong ones?
If they had why would Ken not have said anything to me when he put them in. Come on man if you are doing a build you woould insure the push rods you are putting in are the correct size. Not just open a box and start putting stuff in.
This is what he said. However Ken checked the box and the box has the correct part number. Well then comp must have put the wrong push rods in the box. Once again if this was the case then why not tell me when you are putting them in.
Also the wear on the end of these look to me to be more than a couple min. of run time.
There seams to be a pattern here. Things that cant be seen are not what I bought or agreed to have put in my car, why is this?
Truck will be at my house to pick up the car and take it to Travis tonight at 6:30. With any luck I will be driving it this weekend. Thank you travis for helping me out.
That is what Travis is going to help look into. I verified that the heads were the ones I gave Ken.
Still need to fix all the things that are wrong and verify the parts.
