I know, my issue is I cant do it. I dont have them equipment or the time as I travel for work. I am out of cash for the car so paying someone to tear it down is going to be hard for me along with all new stuff that I will need to buy. But you are right. Its better than it all going up in smoke if I dont do it.Originally posted by Nocooler View PostSteve - it sucks but I'd tear down everything and start from scratch. Go over everything. Document everything.
You have no idea what has or hasn't been done. Stupid stuff like the oil pickup tube bolt or seal might be missing.

either way, it looks like a lot of what were getting is bringing us back to factory replacements or rebuildsOriginally posted by lanzar4155 View PostYou guys found more than I did. I did a search last night but did not spend much time on it. Thank you for the help.
not sure what the other guy had going into his car, but that tc is not vig or yank.
also, how do you forget to install a fuel pump?

hate to say it but from the pic you posted and comparing to the B&M that Spencer linked I would bet thats likely a factory replacement, the B&M has a much different flange where the flexplate bolts to.
you don't, the problem is when you start regurgitating bullshit too much and can't keep your story straight you "forget"Originally posted by MORNINGSTAR2101 View Posteither way, it looks like a lot of what were getting is bringing us back to factory replacements or rebuilds

reading the stories here, and the various other ones about cars on this forum over the years leads me to only one conclusion. despite the random *******s that like to show up and take advantage of people, this site is full of a bunch of great people willing to help out and be supportive. really, mifbody, as a whole, you guys are pretty awesome

I am not much help with building, I can turn a wrench and willing to help, but I would go with anyone to Kens and help get your parts back....Originally posted by riderman329 View PostThat sure as shit my convertor...
