The only update that I have at this time is, I was told that the motor should be going in 5/8/14. I hope this is the case and then it should not be long.

I'm sure you're fine..However, there is a vehicle/project and member on here with a 3 year running time that Ken has been compensated for, yet has not fulfilled his end of the bargain, although there were some unfortunate circumstances that occurred during the build that brought upon some delay. That said, Ken is obviously taking on new customers and apparently is forgetting about old ones..Originally posted by zeeman View PostDont like the turn this thread has suddenly taken....Makin Torque.

Yes, Ken has had multiple VERY rough setbacks. Need to hear both sides.Originally posted by Iroc'nthe87 View PostI'm sure you're fine..However, there is a vehicle/project and member on here with a 3 year running time that Ken has been compensated for, yet has not fulfilled his end of the bargain, although there were some unfortunate circumstances that occurred during the build that brought upon some delay. Is the car at Ken's shop? If not, hard for him to work on it.

From my understanding, Ken is quite difficult to get ahold of, or is forwarding calls from certain people..Makes it hard to schedule a time to BRING the car BACK to him.Originally posted by hoogiesngrinderz View PostYes, Ken has had multiple VERY rough setbacks. Need to hear both sides.

Just trying to get both sides.
In no way am I trying to start a pissing match or defend anyone to the death, but things happen. If you'd like to PM me on what needs to be finished on the car, please feel free. He's been nice enough to me where I'd lend a hand, no charge.

I hear ya Mike, and your offer is very generous to say the least..However, it is my opinion that it would not be fair nor appropriate at this point for you to assume work that has already been paid for. I'm certainly not trying to sway opinion here, but this issue has been buried for far too long and I certainly hope it receives the attention it deserves VERY soon. If the owner of said car comes across your post, perhaps he may reach out to you. I know he is looking for a reputable tuner for the new set-up (PROM burning) if i'm not mistaken..Originally posted by hoogiesngrinderz View PostJust trying to get both sides.

-removed because it belongs in Jake's project thread-
as for steves car. steve has changed his build during the build a couple times. 1 of the times it wasn't his choice as his car had been badly abused. and there where a lot of part set backs. wrong pistons being shipped and steve being the hard worker that he is made it hard to get parts to me in a timely mannor. I waited almost 3 weeks for pistons. then he desided to change his rods for h-beam. in steves deffence he didn't plan on needing a engine rebuild. it was suppost to be a head and cam swap with rod bolt upgrade. and yes I have givin him major discounted prices on the engine rebuild. to the point that he isn't paying for the assembly of his motor.
as for Robert gasman. you are next in line. right after matt carver. which is being finished up. hang in there guys. we even ran into problems on Robert craigslist find motor. I found milky oil in his valve covers. and Robert has added some work to but not near what the rest have.
all thank all my customers for there patiants.
sorry it just seems like life keeps giving me these blows. left and right. but it out of my hands all I can do is deal with it as it comes.
And please forgive me as I don't think it right to mess with someones build thread, But I cant sit here and be kicked at constantly and not stand up for myself.Last edited by meissen; May 11th, 2014, 05:35 PM.

no and greg had contacted me end of winter/beginning of spring and asked if I would help if he took the car out to my shop. I had agreed and after talking to greg after his posts on rolos build threads, he had said he desided not to bring it because he knew I was going through had times with my little boy nate.Originally posted by hoogiesngrinderz View PostYes, Ken has had multiple VERY rough setbacks.
