Not sure what the sound is at the 16-17 second mark

Higher the LSA will result in a smooth idle, plus those grinds really only benefit boosted applications with the short intake duration.

Should do fine with some good springs. Planning on running the 317 heads?

I also have the TR 224. Its a pretty decent cam. In your case I would go with a little larger cam but the 224 is very nice. Its fun.

We used a 230/230 cam in my buddys GTO and it ran extremely well. The Dr even said it was one of the better driving cam only cars hes tuned.

I have a 230/235 .609/.610 114+2 in my car. It's a turbo cam but it ran hard NA. Dyno'd almost 400 through a 6 speed and 9 inch and ran deep deep 12s with 1.8 60 fts. This is with an LQ4 with 317s that have no work done to them.

I do like the chrome on gold. I would look into getting the wheels done in powder coat chrome. Theyll last a lifetime

Yeah, mine are just starting to pit. It's not bad, but it's enough to irritate me. I've heard the powdercoat chrome looks more like a polished aluminum than actual chrome, but still is a nice appearance. I'll have to check some out in person. I really like the 10 spokes on my car and would like to keep them if possible.

ya it almost made me want to file a paypal claim on the guy but he left a corsa exhaust on it and some tubular suspension that i was not expecting so i let it slide. it annoys me.

and holy **** why does everyone think their t-56 is worth its weight in gold. almost makes me want to slap a th400 in it

a little update, car parts are stacking up in my room so i thought i might as well start doing some work on the car. any little bit helps right? so i am in the middle of pulling the dash right now to remove the hvac system. im glad i am doing this one for the weight savings but two, who ever owned the car prior had this thing apart and did a hack job putting it back together. ill post some pictures later today not much to see tho, just a camaro with the dash missing.

Go bigger than the 224! I'm a fan of a big cam, and if you're pulling the HVAC out of it it obviously isn't going to be the most friendly driver. Kolins old 232/238 I think? car broke necks pulling into a parking lot with it chopping its ass off. Pulled really well throughout the rpm range too.
