I'd hate to invite myself, things haven't exactly been great but i wont discuss the details here. Maybe one day we can finish what we started. For the time being, just let the guy rest and recover from all hard times hes been through. I'd hate to push another task onto a man who has a full plate as it is. We all have lives, hence why i found him and trusted my friends to build the car. Our lives and money get in the way so i cant blame him. Maybe one day we can complete without other projects or whatnot get in the way, myabe the low horsepower was less interesting to him. idk the whole game or how it was played, just wanna see some camaros run this summer!!! Greg, we'll get yours running!!! Remember this is MIFBODY and anything is possible!!

well did Ken ever mail that part to your house? I know I gave him my address twice said he mailed it almost 2 weeks ago now. Bought it from Summit, had it 26 hrs later. Now we need a good TPI tuner !

It is unfortunate that it has come down to this, but I feel it is my only option. As a few of you may know, I empowered Ken to build me a stout street car in the summer of 2011 based on good faith and recommendations from others here on the forum. However, my excitement has now turned into disappointment.

I've tried to keep the faith in Ken, I've called him, visited, and listened to his many pleas for more time for whatever the situation may be. I no longer believe that keeping this whole situation private between Ken and myself is beneficial and that it must now become a public issue. It is quite infuriating to see continuous Sniper Performance build threads pop up on the forum, while my project sits here, reliant on only myself for completion. It is simply not fair.

I am requesting that Brain [MENTION=193]meissen[/MENTION] please help me in bringing Ken into this thread and make this situation right for everyone, publicly. No more behind the scene phone calls, with tentative agreements and promises, nothing. As a forum sponsor who generates business here, it is only fair for everyone to see the way Ken will conduct himself regarding this entire situation.

This is some bull shit. Sorry for the language. Your right this need some attention. But I'm not longer working on this car as of now.so let the other side of the story be told.

About 3 years ago I was called by gregg. And he was telling me that he had a friend (jake). Saying he and his car where done wrong at evi, and didn't have much money to straighten it out and asked if I could help. At this point I agreed.
Later the car shows up to my old house in lennon and I began to look at it. Now up to this point of disassembly I was blind to what had happened to the car. When it showed up there was wiring that was ripped up. And was then told that jake and his father had done a cam and intake swap.

l had told him he was responsible for all the parts and to help him I would only charge him $350 to pull and install the motor. Later during disassembly I found that the cam had been installed wrong and the motor needed need rebuild. So jake picked up new patriot heads. New gaskets. He had told me he didn't have any money after picking up those parts to afford a machine shop. So to father help I called in some favors and got his machine work done for only $350. He later decided after machine work had began that he wanted it bored out. So with no change in machine work price he ordered new pistons. At this point kelley my fiance at the time had lost her child to her father and I was diagnosed with cancer. Shortly after I lost my home to the statments. So I asked jake to take his car home as I was loosing my house. Now so it's know jake picked his car up and and left his motor with me for assembly. After that almost a whole winter went by with no word from him. Just before spring I got a call from him asking if his motor was finished. Told him yes and the he could pick it up anytime.
so before I had gotten diagnosed with cancer I had found that jake had gotten a new job and was doing a lot better money wise. And had been partying hard drinking often and and spend money on his car. Which was great.

Now when I had his car I had sold him at a huge discount price some new and used parts I had at the shop. And later I had Givin him a ton of parts to finish it up. Now jake live about 4 minutes from me and I had agreed that I would help him put the motor back in. But I would like him to clean the engine compartment up over the winter so and get it ready for the new motor while I was going threw the 1st run chemotherapy. Later again I got a call and they (jake and gregg) had said they where ready for me. So while going threw chemo and not having a job I made arrangement being sick half the time to come out. And had told him he may need to cover my gas cost. As I had been laid off from delphi.
The 1st few times I came out it was on my coin. We got the motor in and each time I had left I gave him homework if you will as this work is being done almost free. So we got the motor in and I had just set the push rods in. And buttoned on the intake let them know they needed to extract a broken oil fitting out of the block where the oil pressure sender was at. And told jake I needed gas money as my car was on empty. After alittle feet dragging he and Greg ran up to the bank and I followed him to get some gas money. This was the last time I seen jake and his car.

Later during a break I had a buddy help me put my car together. When finding that the good trans I had picked up was bad. Matt Carver had and Brian missed had decided to raise money to get my car running. During this time jake had seen the money that was being raised and sent matt Carver a PM on this forum saying that I owed gregg money. (Which I do $200). And that I had screwed him over on his (jakes) car and had not finished it. along with saying that he would be willing to take this problem to brian Meissen. (im sure I can find the e-mail and Pm that was sent to me with it copyed and pasted and post it up if need be.

So I called gregg and talked to him. Greg had apologized for jake and understood my money problem and why I hadn't paid him yet. We'll at this point I had enough of jake, where I come from you don't treat someone that had been helping him so much the way he had been treating me.
Now I will say that jake had sent me near the beginning of all this $200 for christmas. And found out threw Greg that jake wanted that to go to Greg but never said a word on that. So being sick and low on money I uused it to buy Christmas gifts for the kids.
now out of the parts I had Givin him there where some rocker arm nuts. And in the course of the move I had not given him 1 of them. And that was the fuel to spawn all this because I have not gotten one to him. As I had my uncle mail it to Greg and it never showed. So Greg got on another build thread and was down talking there which later got removed on my request thanks to brian. what ever happened to the part I have no idea. but after greg got on the forum greg and I talked and I told him I would send another one. but haven't had the chance to send it yet.

The problems I have had going on has put a complete stop to any treatments along with trying to get this shop up and out. It's feet. My ex had a child protective services case where my son was removed from her and placed as ward of the court in foster care. And I have been fighting to get custody back of him. (He is with me now thank god). So my uncle has been trying to help me out with alot of the running stuff beings how I'm being forced to go threw so much ( parenting classes 1 time a week, nate visits with his mom2 times a week, life skillz1 time a week, foster care visits 1 time a week, nates lawyer 1 time a week.
bottom line jake had the money to deal with his car and I kept trying to help him knowing so. if he had not he wouldn't have purchased a 4th gen care and later a gsxr and try buying a grand national. I take that as I was being screwd into helping someone who didn't want to pay for it. I could understand if he would have said im not sure what im doing and need the help getting it running. but in the end I was giving parts away and calling in favors and driving out on my dollar when I couldn't afford to. just to find there was brake upgrades. that he could afford on the car. now if he cant afford the repairs on his car to pay me actual labor or even to get his car running then whay in the heck was there a full big brake kit sitting on his car. Im trying to help him because he could afford to fix his car, and get it running.

im done with this. you don't kick people in the teeth that have gone above and beyond for you.

bottom line you got about $2500 in labor that you only paid $550 for (including the $200 gift check that was sent to me). now step up to the plate and either pay someone to finish it. or tackle it yourself. I will be contacting matt to have him post up the pm.

also wanted to add that last year at the dream cruise I had ran across another member of this forum where something kinda similar had happends over a car repair.

also in jakes deffence alittle here. he has gone threw a ruff time as far as family go's and I know what tat can do when it comes to stress. it not my place to say what had happened but I have taken this into account.

The fact is, you are running a 'business' on here and in my opinion, this is not an appropriate response from someone who uses this forum as a medium for soliciting business. You have apparently just decided to completely drop Jake altogether, which isn't right. I think the situation can be made right, but you two need to sort these details out here on the forum.

I'm not worried about what you a friend of jakes has to say. Of course your going to lean on that side. The point is you dont!!!! Treat someone that has done all that with the disrespect that was givin.

Bottom line is if you can afford to party hard and buy cars. Bikes motorcycles then you can afford to fix a car that is badly wanted.

I'm not going to sit on this forum and play these games with you, him, or even greg. I tried to help and he was very rude and showed that he didn't care who went out on a limb for him. This car is not my responsibility, it wasn't a shop project. It was done to help some out that said they needed it.

Oh your right. I set my price because he was hurting. And later to find out he was partying left and right. And then when he was in better shape it was still on everyone else to help him and the he was buying cars.. Your right it is a true testament to my character. I tried helping even after he had stepped on. I gave him parts to get his car going. I drove way the heck out there 4 times on my dollar.

If that's what's considered as right or respectful or even morally right then I want no part of it. I did my part. Now you and Greg can pull him out.

Yeah right I made my choice to drop him long ago. When he sent matt Carver a PM bad talking and then had greg apologizing for him.

You either didn't read the entire book I wrote on here or your just 1 sided. I told greg he could bring the car back out to the shop. Greg made the choice not to bring it because of what was going on. But I feel like I was pan handled. And the panhandlers just got into his brand new car and drove off to his 200k house. Or even scammed.

I wouldn't do that kinda stuff to anyone. Claim I need help find someone to help when I had the money. And if my money situation changed while someone was trying to help I would darn sure start footing the bill. And take care of the person who was trying to help me. It's not so much about the money it more about abusing the kindness of someone who did everything to help.

Ha ha ha. That showed how I was treated while help him out. That showed how he abused Somes help. I have nothing to proove or to respond to anymore. It useless with you or even jake. Yall see it your way and thats it. As long as you all can benefit from something your all in.Truth will come out in time. IV helped more out than many. And my track record shows that I'm not a man that will make a choice like this without good reason Till then it mothers day and I plan on spending mine with family.
