Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
putting ws6 wheels on it today. and painting the front
calipers, important removing the front sway bar and
painting it, painting the intake red. wiring up my AFR
gauge in the dash vent. polishing the fuel rails.
install my white leather interior.
not sure if its a real hawk or not yet. still need to
find out how to tell if its real or not. the hood isn't
original to the car. i can tell that. because i took it
off for ease of working on the grounds and it was
originally black..
but it has the firehawk mats. and everything is badges
are correct. they were covered in red plasti-dip.
the entire rear bumper lower half of the doors and both
headlights were covered in it. only reason i found out
they were covered is with the heat we've been getting
lately the stuff started to bubble off in areas. so after
peeling it all off and starting to see the firehawk stuff
you could imagine my face :O
who knows lol. its a nice clean car. having someone
come out from firehawk nation to see if its real tomorrow.
i hope it is. cause if so i just fell into a collectors item.
had someone come out and they said that yes this is
a true firehawk they don't know just yet what number.
as this cars been repainted. they took my vin and said
they'll let me know in about a week what number they
come up with.
Post up a pic of the glove compartement options sheet. This will tell me if it is a true Firehawk or not.
From the posted pics, the only thing I see that says it is a Firehawk are the decals.
Was "firehawk" a performance upgrade at all over a TA or formula?
Yes, if i remember correct Firehawk was an option you could order at the dealer from SLP. For 1995 it was some suspension upgrades, different wheels / tires, a functional ram air hood, and a different intake / exhaust. They made a little over 300hp from the factory.
Hate to do this Bob, still calling BS. Look at your first pictures, where is the badge and stickers? Then your second set of pictures the yellow stickers appear....
Here are your first pics, where's the badge? 1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg

Just saw this, frankly I didnt read all the posts. So the firehawk was covered in dip but it said formula right over it in the exact same spot?
Also dip just hit big you said this car has been sitting?
yeah he said it had been sitting for about a year..
but he also said he was slowly fixing it as the reason
he parked it was the clutch went out,.. he parked it at
his sisters and slowly ripped it apart to fix the clutch.
then after fixing the clutch he said he listed it forsale
and it sat for a few more months and then he told me
it just quit starting on its own. and he gave up.
if you look at the lower rear bumper in some of the pics
you can see black areas by the tailpipes. those are also
plasti-dip. kinda like them so i left them alone.
but checked for the glove box sticker its there with the
cars vin but the glovebox sticker is so stained up and
damaged i cant tell if it says wu6 or wa8
