A few little things are happening this spring. I got the new seats installed. I ordered tires. I'm getting the old tires removed soon so Curt can paint the wheels. I'll probably going to replace the carb at some point this summer as well. Rebuilding the QJet is cost prohibitive, and I think I sorta threw that "originality" card out the window a while ago. Also looking in to a new rear end, but I can't see spending that kind of money just yet.

I went with Procar Rally series 1000's. I didn't think that racing style seats would look good in a car like this, so I went this option. I thought about getting new inserts and foam from TMI and recovering the seats I had, but decided this would be a better option.

I've had a short amount of seat time in them so far and I can't believe how much better these seats are that the originals.

Talked to a guy from GM design on Saturday- he thought the paint on my car was similar to "Arrival Blue Metallic" used in the early 2000s on GM trucks and small cars. Thoughts?

It looks very similar, does your paint have metallic? I can't tell from that pic. I had a 2004 Silverado SS with the Arrival Blue Metallic paint and really like the color.sigpic
