exactly make adjustments to get the car to 60' the best it can at the given power level. you could try adding a degree of timing as well until it stops picking up then back it off again, just make sure you don't get to agressive and make one adjustment at a time and record the changes.

I am shooting to be at the next NO ET, as this past one was kinda crap.
Put new plugs in it in the pits, make a pass, shut the engine off as soon as you can safely, Either tow it back to the pits or change the plugs on the return road. Thats the only way your going to get data is a good plug reading.

Work on getting the car to 60' on the 100 jets too. If its not hooking on the 100 jets your not going to accomplish anything going to the larger jet.

Don't get greedy. You probably have another few numbers and a mph or 2 left in the tune up on the 100 shot.

How are you pulling timing? and are you using a progressive and/or window switch?
    Mallory 685 for timing.
It spun some and walked out. The track wasn't too great since it had rained earlier in the morning that day.
I am trying to get a closeish race going with my dad.
I asked him to not use the trans brake.
It may be some what close

So I knocked off at least a second in the 1/4 with a 100 shot and the yank converter.
Any guesses on ET with a 150 shot assuming it hooks well?

I just put new 3-4 clutches, new 2-4 band, filter, and called it good.
Transmission shifts pretty well. Has great pressure all around.
Installed the UMI torque arm relocation cross member I got.
Has a little bit of vibration that wasn't there before, may ditch the energy suspension mount and use a prothane I have sitting around.

I just got the set of rear calipers I got from @dawdaw cleaned, disassembled, and sand blasted. They should be off to @Darren sometime soon so I can finally finish my LS1 brake swap.

Still saving $$$ for that RPM transmission.

I have a stock torque arm as well, not sure what my pinion angle is, when I last checked it it was -2*
got ya, i was at lapeer 2 weeks ago and 400 feet after the 1/4 lights there were puddles of water lol, shit was like taking a bath... damn, if you were willing to spend a little coin and stiffen the suspension up a little and put some decent shocks on it, there's a lot of E.T. left on the table for you.... a bmr or umi rear drag bar with some decent shocks like qa1 or stange would work wonders for your car, plus a adjustable torque arm... to be honest with you i'm suprised your car sixty's as good as it does with as little suspension mods you have.. put some 250 jets in it and run your dads car lol!
