Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I used that same mount kit for the 60 Impala. Not too impressed with them, but the price wasn't bad. You will need to trim the passenger side adapter to fit the AC bracket (if you plan to keep it)
Edit: Whoops, I should get some sleep...I used a similar kit
Have you pulled the stock engine out yet ? probably going to be easier you just pull the front clip off. Should be able to pull off core support, front fenders and grill all at the same time. IIRC with my 2000 s-10
'91 Camaro Modded, LSx, House of Kolor Intense White, lowered, GS chrome 18" wheels, 14" Brembo CTS-V on all 4 corners, LS rear end, FP suspension components

I didn't plan on keeping the A/C. If I did decide to add it, I'd probably go this way:
I just thought it would be simpler and I wouldn't have to worry about notching the frame. I will probably be selling the truck once its finished to finish my 99 Bird project, so I may just leave this option up to the next owner. Its still up in the air. I do hope the mounts work out like they should!!! I didnt read any negative reviews about them on the S10 forum.

Not yet. The weather is preventing alot of my progress. I hope to do so really soon. I already have the trans and starter sold, I just need to pull the package out. I do plan on removing the core support, hood, and fender wells. Unless the entire clip comes off as one unit. If you have info on this, I'd be highly indebted to you for your insight! This isn't my first LS build, but it is my first S10 build.

I ordered these adapters so I can run multiple intakes with different injectors(EV1 or EV6) with one harness. For running them on the engine stand. It I mod a harness, I solder in the proper connectors. DSC00135.JPG
This is a pump for a LS1 Camaro/Trans Am. Should do plenty for this application. DSC00138.JPG
Was going Walboro 255, but stayed with the AC Delco DSC00128.JPG
I also put the 6.0 block I picked up the other day on the run stand I made. Its for harness mock up purposes. I put the heads and intake for my Bird on. The injector connectors are the same for the truck manifold, as well as the LS3. This way I can get the O2 wires in the right spot along with the mods for the MAF length.
IIRC...the front clip should come off as one piece. My truck was 2000, shouldnt have been any major changes, I had mine all apart when I did the custom paint job on it

I know its been a few weeks, but here is an update. I wanted to run the engine on the engine stand first to ensure it ran before installing it. I will run it a bit longer and check the oil press and running vacuum, coolant, etc. before installing it. I also have to clean it up a bit and add a fresh coat of paint to it. But it is alive!!! Enjoy this short vid!
Cool you fired that on an engine stand. cant wait to see it running in the truck

That make two of us. I still haven't made the harness for the truck. That's an F-body harness I used to fire it on the stand. They are pretty straight forward, almost a stand alone harness is stock form. I'll have another vid of it running for a while once I get the cam in and get the engine cleaned and painted. I also need to made the radiator support for this run stand. So stay tuned, more to come in a bit.
funny your wife jumped like 5 feet... had me laughing, but the engine runs and sounds good. Cant wait till it goes in between the s-10 frame rails
Yeah, she almost dropped the camera and took off running!!! I still have mega work to do before it goes in like painting the frame, installing the shift kit in the tranny, getting the stall converter, installing the cam and painting the block, not to mention modding the harness. Nice thing is with the weather starting to get a bit more fair, I should have more opportunities to get the checklist going in the right direction.
I also picked up a 2/3 drop coil and block kit to lower it just a tad. Order my rear bumper shaver kit and it should be here some time this week. I am thankful it fired right up. Once I complete this run stand I plan to thoroughly got thru checks like hot compression and leak down, as well as monitor the vacuum at various rpms and verify oil press is to satisfaction prior dropping it in. Man, seems like my checklist keeps growing in the opposite direction.
