I see what you mean now. Didn't know the Lokar had that nut on there. Good to know, but sorry to hear you ran into the issue for me to find out.
I'll probably see what it takes to use a stock style cable

Also, my father had his heart set on a stock fan setup - I told him time after time that it wouldn't work with the LS1 intake...now I have picture/video to shut him up
I'm thinking a 16" fan under the stock shroud is the way to go on the '60

It's good info to get out there, that's for sure.Originally posted by masterfab View Postno need to be sorry, that's why im doing this. it helps others see the issues and the fixes. im glad I could help..
I might be building a small turbo, 67mm or 72mm setup (have a spare 5.3 in the garage) for my uncle's 55 Nomad to trade for body and paint work on my 55 Bel Air. But....After ripping around in this SRT-4 Neon...well...I'm thinking about keeping the 5.3...maybe sell him the fresh 6.0 and boost the Camaro
Boost is worse than crack!

Ken, look into the L99 or LS3 pump. From what I hear they are the same pulley setup as the truck setup. We're planning to order the LS3 power steering and alternator setup for my dad's 5.3l

Ill will look into it. But I don't have much money to go buy a $100 used part. I do how ever have the tools and knowledge to mill the 5.3 pump and make it work.Originally posted by hoogiesngrinderz View PostKen, look into the L99 or LS3 pump.
