Congrats on the build. Just a couple points from a guy that has several LS swaps under his belt.
1) You will want to put the clamshells as far forward as you can on the mount brackets shown above. You will also have to slot the holes for the 7/16" bolts that hold the clamshells to the frame mount. Those adapter brackets move the holes out board, and either you slot them or preload the hell out of the rubber mounts to get it to fit.
If you want to try a set of mounts I have designed that eliminates the bracket and stock clamshell PM me, I'm looking to test fit them on a Gbody. My setup should let you keep the truck accessory drive generator position. They put the back of the block at the same place as the original SBC would have fit in a g-body and have adjustment to move the motor an additional 3/8" back if you want to.
2) I strongly don't recommend the Musclecar oil pan. The sump will hang waaaay below the engine crossmember and is very vunerable to getting taken out on a hard bump. An f-body oilpan or Holley pan are the best solutions. Everything else either hangs too low or puts the motor in a crappy location.
