Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

87 Buick Regal Single 76mm turbo 5.3l/4l80E budget build
Believe it or not. I used summit chassis black on the fire wall and core support. And flat black which was high temp grill paint for the plastic fenders and heater box ( closest match I could font to factory plastic) then kbs rust blast on the frame. ( same as pot-15).
Can't wait to see this thing moving under it's own power! Keep up the great work, Ken.
All it needs is a drive shaft and the rear axle swap. Woohooo. Without the boost tube hooked up it spools pretty quick. I used a BS drive sift for a test drive.
Well I had a buddy over today that helped me get some stuff done. New drive shaft is in and the cooling system is done. New injectors are in.
But in the end I have a huge problem. The clutch is welded to the drum and is always in 2nd gear, even when its in park or neutral. It can be shifted manually threw hp tuners. but has no reverse. Always in 2nd.
So with being laid off and sick this project will be on hold till next year. Sucks all I wanted was to cruise on the bad days. But s%#t happens right. Yall have a good one.
Ken - not being familiar with what's wrong with it, how hard is it to fix? Does it need a new clutch? New clutch and trans? Is it something that we could help you out with? Seems like all the work you do for the guys here on the site, the least we could do is help you get this sucker cruise worthy!

It needs a full rebuild. I thankyou so much for your generous thaught. but I'm not even sure I could get the trans out of the thing in my condition. And I'm not sure if I could except it without feeling guilty. I did get to drive it around the apartment today with is trying to push threw the brakes. It felt really good. I do what I do to help people that have the passion for hot rodding. I love every minute of the help Iv givin. And will continue.
To be honest I beniefit a lot from these jobs. I get to meet new friends. And get a chance to pass the knowledge down the ladder. I love what I do. Absolutely love it. And yall on this site are just amazing!!!!
Is the 4L80E like the 4L60E when it comes to valve body bolts? I had all but ONE off, no reverse and very hit/miss shifting. I could hit all manually with EFIlive controlling the trans.
