For now phase 1 of the project should be done.... fingers crossed. Phase 2 wont continue until next winter but this is whats on the to do list:
- Give the girl a nice face lift - new exterior paint job
- align the body panels...... (more info below)
- Look into different hoods and/or wide body kit (will be debating this for a while)
- Sell wheels, find/buy new bigger wheels
- Upgrade the brakes
Phase 3
- Restore/upgrade the interior
- New seats
- New steering wheel
- Harness bar
- 5 point harness
I'm extremely happy with the project overall at this point but with that said, there are still a few more "detail" items and ideas I wish I had the time to do. I'm really irritated with the body panels not lining up right now. I've messed around with them a few times now and just not having any luck with them at this moment but I really want to start enjoying all the work I've put into this and worry about panel alignment later.
I would also like to take a second and thank everyone who has helped me out with this project, so a big thank you to Brent aka Mr. Bling @OVRKILL , Mike c0ncEpT, Joel @JoeliusZ28 , the whole team at Katech - (Nate Eifert, Dave Zagaiski, Rich Priester, Kevin Pranger, Bob Wirgau, Jason Harding, Garry Franklin, Adrian Nagrant, Dean Pelletier, Paul Poholsky), Eric Hawkins, Dan Shuler, Steve Boldizar, Slim's Hot Rod Shop, BMR Suspension, Dr. Phil and last but not least Fred Meinberg @Lucky SOB who put in damn near just as much time as myself with this project. Thanks again guys I really appreciate all the help as a project like this isn't exactly a quick overnight deal! If I forgot someone I sincerely apologize just made the list from the top of my head and it was a long project!
Now it's time to put together a video complete with before and after pics, engine dyno and chasis dyno so stay tuned!Last edited by DRYSUMP; May 15th, 2013, 09:57 AM.

Estimate how many labor hours went into it..
This is something I really really really wish I would have kept track of. But a rough estimate, with multiple people working on it at any given time... I would say 300 hours... conservatively
