well i havent looked into this little issue limiting my power of the ls1 but im starting to wonder as the season comes to a end what it couild be so i can fix it over the winter.

the blazer at woot shifts in every gear at 4100 i know that aint good and theres some hidden power in that 2 grand i could rev out too.

i was waiting to see if swapping to the 3.73 would fix it because thats what use to be in it but now there 3.08 but i feel that only change the mph not the rpms

is this a problem in the tune? trans file?

also is $200 a okay price on a used ms4 cam?

I would say that that is definitely a tuning issue. Your shift point should be completely adjustable using something like HP tuners. Are you running a stock ECM??

ok price on the cam, but I personally wouldn't run it on a street truck. That cam is pretty damn big

yea i know its pretty big lol thanks

yea i think the gears being which thru it off so im going to wait and see how it is with the 373 back in it.i was told and read that it reads both mph and rpm to shift but it all can be adjusted so we will see soon

I love the LS1 in a S-series but high offset wheels usually look funny when you are used to seeing the car with 0 offset. IMO those wheels are too simple and 19s are huge, which will make your small brakes look silly as well.

The only S-series I like with 18's is below but it was AWD so the high offset wheels were required.

Doubt he's going to be running small brakes forever. I saw a typhoon at the track with the same rims I have in 18s and it looked great IMO

MS cams are nice, but dont buy into the hype. Get a custom one to fit your goals.
