Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
I've also seen people put a pipe in the wall that goes to an underground sump
yeah a urinal or the poor mans set up which u just explained is the lazy persons way out. i would much rather walk out side and take a leak then smell that shit inside.. no thanks.. not that lazy.. like james said.. Over rated
blowing in insulation about 6 inches think i believe. no ceiling fans but will have a small fan mounted near it to move the air around.
That will make it very easy to heat. We have 8" of rolled insulation, it takes about 4 hours to heat, and even if we never fire the stove, it doesn't freeze in the winter. I'll talk to my dad this afternoon to see if he has any lessons learned he can pass on to you

No doubt, sounds a lot like my dad. Just figured I would share some stuff that he would do differently if he could after owning his barn and our shop. Just trying to help.

It's unfortunate that we don't continue doing that these days, honestly. My dad's uncle was building his own house and my dad helped him build it. I think that's why my dad is such a handy man around the house. I tried to help out as much as possible with finishing our basement at my parents' house because I wanted to learn it just the same.

it still happens just not near as much.. i did construction for a summer and deff plan on helping with this quite a bit so i will be able to build my own when i get a house in the next year or two
Urinal's are not overrated. I don't know about you but when I am working on stuff in the winter I don't like laying in puddles of melted snow under my car from everytime I have to go #1. Same for winter card parties. We keep gallons of diluted bleach near by our "poor mans urinal" and it has never smelled. In the summer we don't really use it, but who cares if its useful during the winter. It was an easy install.

Werd. Having to go inside sometimes means cleaning up, urinal in the garage means you step aside and take care of business. Then again if you're willing to just go outside and piss behind back, then no biggie.

not always.. soon as you walk in the back door of my house is the bathroom.. but with this barn u will be able to take a step out the back door and do your business and then wallk back in.. not even walking in the snow
LMAO this thread went from a new garage to a discussion about our preferences of pissing locations, Myself, i'm fond of givin the general a breath of fresh air (read that, pissin out the back door!)
