Thanks, the rims came with the car so I'll stick with them untill I can get something I really like that isn't overplayed ie. black with machined lip. (no offense to anyone who has them, I just want to be different)

Well as some of you know, the car blew a head gasket and the mechanic (local and buddy of mine) said it would be a lot easier and cheaper to just drop the entire cradle and replace the gaskets that way. Im going with a thinner gasket to bump up compression to right around 11:1.5 with a .027 gasket. And i decided to let him do my header install ( was going to do it at home but if the damn manifolds have to come off might as well upgrade that as well) And ill stop by and do plugs/wires. so she'll be loving life once its done.

                THEN..

depending on funds in the beginning of October or right after the engine is done ill take it the trans shop to have the T56 swapped in.

If the engine is coming out the bottom, it take like 5 minutes to install headers with the whole cradle outside of the car. Do anything you plan on while it's out. You have no idea how much easier stuff is to install like that then just raise it all back in. When putting my car back together last month my friend who's very experienced with f-bodies nearly shit a brick with how easy everything was since he'd never done one like that.

Just re-read your post. Do the tranny while the cradle is dropped! Cuts the time spent on replacing it by at least half, and everything is easy to get to.

Funds are kindof limiting the trans install.. But I'll talk it over with him and see what we can do

Good luck keeping white anything close to clean under the hood.

Yup. It's unique, but it's nearly impossible to keep clean unless you clear them and clean them non stop. I went with a red block and wish I didn't!

I was thinking about going with red covers and red intake manifold, like the lt4...?

Pick one color and stick to it. Engine components, calipers, decal overlays, etc.
