  • Which I have a thought about the TD set up. My BBK is already 2.5". What if I cut where the pipes would merge into the Y, and weld in an X in its place? And just finish the system from the X on back? Since I already have the Y pipe, I can probably cut cost and afford more to run it over axle?

Just another thought on the TD subject. Still dont know which route I want to take

    Convert Y into X
    or
Buy mandrel bends and custom make Set up
    or
Buy X pipe kit from summit and a few mandrel bends

        • Meant to make the TC post during the summer, but misplaced where I saved the pictures to. Just recently found them. New TC is fun. Only took it down the track 3 times ( sane day) to get a real good feel with it. Didn't launch to its full potential but I enjoyed it. Practice makes perfect, and so does a better set of tires haha

                • 4800 is nuts. But when you are making the power you're making, I guess it goes hand in hand

                  • Going with the mandrel bends for the custom X pipe..stay tuned..in like 1 month or so

Need to figure out next is catch can. Defiantly want one, but dont want to spend the money on one. Was looking at a $20 on ebay..and also researched a Husky DIY from home depot..Which should I chose?

I guess they are both hit and miss..Im leaning towards the cheapy ebay one.

                    • I did a rev extreme catch can for like $50 used a few years back. Looked good and was a good deal I thought.

                          • Definitely go with a quality one. Those $20 cheapies on eBay are typically empty cans when you open them up. The quality ones usually have material or baffles in there to help the oil in the gasses to condense. I have a RX (Rev eXtreme) Catch Can on my 2012 Camaro too.

                            • I do want to change my vanity plate this year.

                              Currently reads

G4ME0VR ...but my plate is false advertising since Im slow

                              any suggestions?

I kind of like OMGAZ28, because everyone pampers to SS owners , and no one seems to see my decals on the fenders that say Z28, so they are curious as to why its a Z28 and not an SS

Now just await until I get my refund to start the true duals and other misc things.
