From my understanding the short tunnel mount ones are lame for street driving. They make a lot of noise and stuff and when you shift hard it sounds like a hammer hitting your floor. So I've read. They debated if you are a strip/street keep stock length. If you are strip then run the short ones.

I had that same experience with my short tunnel mount one when I had a T56 in the car. I always attributed it to the rod-ends, but regardless, it was obnoxious.

OP, I'm really curious to hear your experience with that Jegster one you just got installed. I wanted to try one of those for quite a while but got scared off due to concerns of the floor board not being able to handle it. Sure is the best solution for ground clearance though!

This one makes no banging noise at all. I have driven it about 40 miles and was waiting to notice something I didn't like and it never happened. I could feel a harder launch, but it might have been my imagination.

Picked up some 315/30/18 Mickey Thompson ET Streets. Hopefully these will help put the 9" to good use.
