    Good progress btw.
I'll tell you right now that his prices are the best of any shop I called for this job in all of SE Michigan. Additionally, Ken has given me so much advice and shared so much knowledge and just been straight up and honest about everything that you simply won't find that anywhere else.

This is my first experience with Ken, and assuming it keeps going this well, I'll be back for everything I need done, no questions asked.

just found out there may be a cam and spring change in this. allan here are some cams that will work for you.

      TR224/224-112 from thunderracing http://www.thunderracing.com/shop-by...kages_946.html

and the sound of the thunder racing cam. http://ls1sounds.com/borlamouth/borl..._billsride.avi

heres another from thunder racing that is alittle larger
TR224/230-111 custom grind( sound clip) http://ls1sounds.com/custom/12inBull...224-110cam.mpg the thunder racing cams are $599 with springs

here are some from futral motorsports.

      http://www.futralmotorsports.com/fms....asp?pf=1&pg=5

      FMS-F14-112FMS Custom Grind Camshaft - 232"/234" .598"/.598" 112LSA - aggressive profile with a 2600-7000 RPM range, rough idle ( sound clip) http://ls1sounds.com/stock/stock_Koo...TO-untuned.mpg / http://ls1sounds.com/SLPloudmouth/LM...-tuned_98Z.MPG

      FMS-F15-111FMS Custom Grind Camshaft - 236"/239" .640"/.612" 111LSA - aggressive profile with a 3200-7200 RPM range, rough idle

those are cam only have to contact them for spring options.

      http://www.compperformancegroupstore...ry_Code=XFIXER

comp cams shelf grinds. i recomend the xer273hr for you motors current state.

      XER281HR http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/c...csid=1093&sb=2

      XER273HR http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/c...csid=1092&sb=2

      277Lr HR13 http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/c...csid=1402&sb=0

allen any of these will work but i like the TR224/230-111 at the top of the page. its a good all around cam that will work with bolt-on upgrade like throttle bodies/ls6 intakes or lsx.

i have never liked the reverse split stuff for NA.
i have used 230/236 a few times and they ran well. for stock 98 heads the tr224 or a 228 may work better

Street / strip car. It'll still have heat, AC, radio, everything from the factory. The extent of the street driving I'll do with it is going to be a few laps of woodward on the weekends and that's about it.

TSP MS4 cam on the way

                              Lookin great, Ken!

I'm glad you discussed doing the cam with me (for anyone wondering, he left the choice up to me, but explained why it was a great idea to do it right now). I can't wait for this thing to be done!

my poor 10 bolt... I'll have to go easy on the launches til the end of the season

just remember in order to run that cam at its full potential, you will need to increase the air flow (heads/intake/TB) at a later date as we discused. and a 9inch wouldnt hurt either.
