After bleeding the clutch (thank you speed bleeder), filling the trans, changing the rear diff fluid and engine oil - it's just about done. Just need to get it back on the ground and adjust the clutch master, then it's time to row some gears!

What fluid are you running in the trans? I tried Royal Purple a couple of years ago and wasn't happy so I switched back to dino oil.

          Dino Dex 3

Debating on my LPE 2 step.......

Currently I stage - clutch in, hit a button (momentary switch), floor it - it activates - then I release the clutch and it disarms. The momentary switch is so it doesn't pop on the shifts. I removing the momentary and letting the spark cut would be easier on the trans. I did this so it wouldn't pop on the shifts.

          Larry any insight?

The new one requires a special shifter that isn't cheap.....at least from what I've read. I'll leave it alone works as it is......

Trans shifts nice and smooth - holy hell it's quiet too......all this time I though my rearend was noisy it might have been the trans (gears make a little noise but not bad).

Haven't powershifted it yet - but I'm sure it'll be fine

Off to the track on Wednesday!

Header gasket was blown on the drivers side - no wonder why it ticked so bad......took about 10 minutes to fix.

It was hot and humid last night - 2500ft D/A

Car went a new best of 11.6x@118.xx with a 1.65 60' - the 60' still needs work and for some odd reason I couldn't bring myself to powershift 4th.......just a mental thing. The RPM trans performed flawless.

If I could get this thing to hook and get some good air I'd be doing ok.

Looked over the car today - the slip yoke wasn't sliding smooth and binding, I must have forgot to lube it went I put it in, much better now.

The nuts on shock bolts (relocation shock mounts) were hitting/fighting with the sway bar - so I fixed that as well.
