Those numbers are gonna be hard to reach even with the best heads , lots of rpm and a Cary intake

Why not build the driveline to handle the current power - before making more?

I caved and ordered some headers last night - edelbrock victor - 1-3/4 stepped to 1-7/8 w/3.5 collectors, I'll need to build a y-pipe and make some changes to the I-pipe - or I might say f-it and run bullets right off the headers (don't think the wife would approve).

and is that 650 for just parts or parts and labor? i'll know next week what my hp/tq are, but should be about 550ish rwhp. last thing i need is my trans to blow up.

650 parts and labor + what ever hard parts are broken.

I know a dynojet that'll make the same numbers if that makes you feel any better. Plenty of people I know have used both and all are within 5rwhp. Regardless the car is going to be a handful and already makes some killer hp don't get caught up with dyno numbers

Got the bellhousing indexed today - Thanks to Larry (1Badair) for letting me pick his brain.

Now it's gotta come back apart so I can reinstall the clutch.

Still debating on the y-pipe. Probably will end up with flowmaster 3.5"-3.0" reducing ball flanges - and a 3"-4" y-pipe merge, 4" cutout and then take it back to 3" before it goes over the axle. Not looking forward to the fab work......might be easier to grab a TSP y-pipe and modify it.....
