That is some legit work. Planning on blocking off the former housing holes for the high beams?

Thanks, I appreciate that. I was thinking about either that or do a air induction set up through them. Open to either but waiting for now

I really like it - I love that you did something unique that no one else has done before and it turned out really good.

And... Back to bare metal on an old repair I did. Going to take my time with it now and make it straighter. Won't be as a lean as a whole new panel, but for money (and lack of welding skills) I'll make it work.

Pulled the metal out to avoid using filler. Well, at least as little as possible. It was caked on far too heavy before...

Will need to do some creative sanding magic...

                        Yikes

FYI, mud should never be put on that thick. It should be done in layers and high spots knocked down when it starts to kick.

I am aware. Really this quarter needs to be replaced. I am just getting it straight enough to get it on the road for now. This is just temporary so my expectations aren't that high. Thanks for the look.

Kudos to you for even bothering with the car that far gone! A lot of people might just write the car off.

It definitely needs some work. I want to do as much of it myself as possible. I don't know how to weld (yet) so I'm just getting it straight enough to have fun with until I have either 1. The skill to cut and weld and have it look right 2. The space to do it in or 3. The money to hand it to somebody to overhaul it for me. Until then, I'm going to do the best I can and have fun with it.

P.s. I accidentally "liked" my own post and can't figure out how to undo it on Tapatalk... It's awkward and unintentional.
