My first attempt at a carb rebuild has been very educational... I'm definitely learning a lot about how they work and what can be changed or adjusted. Still in the process of getting it all cleaned up before putting it all back together. It's a rare carb Holley #3837 that was only used for one year on 68' chevelles with 396. It was on the 350 when I bought the car and always worked well so I'm keeping it on the 400 for now.
Unfortunately, a new vacuum diaphragm was not included in the kit so I'm waiting to hear back from Holley tech support on which one I need then I can get it back together and fire it upsigpic
