Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
LOL, we must've been looking at those wheels at the same time.......I saw them on Craigslist at thought I should call on them, never did. Glad to see they went to a good home!! BTW- if Larry doesn't pick up the Speedlines from you let me know, I'd be interested.
As always the car looks great!!!!!
EDIT: Just went back and reread your post if you change you mind on the 5 spokes let me know that too.

also prefer the earlier (flat style) but some early 01s have that style (leftover from previous year?) like mine.Love your car (particalar to RED) and seen this was "project" and was looking at bay picture and very nice!!!It won't make or break but I like to see is to paint area behind cowls black so you don't see everything behind screen.Tried to find closer pic but best one I have.I went little farther and smoothed- filled "dummy" holes on drivers side and painted screen silver.also seen some guys running without seal on cowl for heat extraction (not to be driven in rain tho) so trimmed back and put in alum. drip rail and left seal over ends to help protect electronics. Seemed to work to keep out rain because we got pretty wet on trip to last gilmore show and only thing not wet was engine.Looking Good Derek!!! mifbodymeetandgreet2010881.jpg
Picked up the Corsa exhaust yesterday. Thanks Brent! It was nice to meet you.
I'm hoping to clean it up a bit this week and then get it installed in the next few weeks. I'll need to come up with a custom Y-Pipe to move my cutout from the I pipe to the Y-Pipe and then install a cat or two within the Y-Pipe. Some undercarriage detailing will follow that
If anyone is interested, I'm going to be removing a mint condition stainless magnaflow exhaust including stainless magnaflow tips (with under 10k miles on it). The I-Pipe has been sitting in our polebarn and has never been modified (I put a custom I-Pipe in with my cutout so that I didn't have to cut up the stainless magnaflow pipe). PM me if you are interested.

Its a been a while.. Corsa exhaust was insanely loud without cats, in turn, we installed a twister bullet muffler in front of it to give it a nice deep rumble while keeping the raspy loudness down.
Yesterday I did a mod I have been wanting to do for some time.. I went to home depot and got an aluminum strip, I cut the strip to cover the "Corvette" letters on my FRC, I then hand polished each strip and applied some Trans Am door emblems that I had laying around. I think it goes with my black/ polished metal theme well what do you think? Pics are attached.
Nope sorry, I'm going to be using the cutout and some of the piping on the new setup most likely.
Wanted to say thanks...I have Borla exhaust without a cat and it was a little too loud also. I loved the way it idled, but after 3000 rpm had too much crackle. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do...then I read your post. I added a Moroso spiral muffler where the cat was and it gave me the perfect sound I have been looking for. A nice low rumble, but still loud with some tone at higher rpms. So, Thanks!

Good to hear! The spirals are nice because they mellow the exhaust out without sacrificing flow. I did the same thing to my old supercharged v6 bird with the SLP loudmouth 1.
