the rocker has been put on the back burner. It is more important that the car drive than have a painted rocker.
Thats fine because I won't be working on it tonight.

Morgan will be by Saturday so hopfully I can fix the exhaust, and install the intake by then

            • Thursday Darren came by and we removed the driver side exhaust manifold to replace two broken studs, unfortunately I broke the oil pressure sending unit removing the exhaust manifold. By the end of the night the we got the exhaust back up with a hollow catalytic convertor.

Saturday I removed the muffler as it sounded like I had a broken baffle in the muffler. Thanks to Joel it only ended up being a cracked exhaust tip that was making a bunch of racket. Joel was also nice enough to give me his old old intake elbow as mine was torn so I was able to resinstall my Morosa CAI with a CLEAN air filter. By the end of the night Joel and I went for a quick spin and it runs really well. new plugs, clean TB, and new rear sway bar bushings were good investments. I still have to work out a few bugs but I am glad to have it drivable again.
I hope to have the rocker primed by the end of the week.

              • the trans works well too! Its how i would want an automatic setup, nice and mechanical Shifts when you tell it to but still fully automatic! And the firmness is about just right id say.

I was going to call you today but the turn signal switch is acting up so I have no turn signals and more importantly brake lights. Hoping to have it all buttoned up by the end of the week until I decide to replace something else.

                            • On Saturday I decided I would paint the rear quartner panel as it had many dings and one dent. By the afternoon I ended up priming the rocker and the quarter panel.
Hopefully buy the end of the week I will have some paint on the rocker and 1/4 panel.
