In the end the aluminum driveshaft was about $50 (90 shipped minus ebay bucks -what I sold my original driveshaft for)
This is the best picture I have at the moment. Since then I removed side moldings and the AIR pump.
Kevin hooked me up with the parts I need to perform an LS1 lid swap, but I haven't decided to install it yet. I am still considering headers but waiting for your review on how well they fit. I have read a few reviews some of which actually said they will be switching back to manifolds because of how poorly they fit.
I also purchased from 1999 Camaro SS wheels, I MIGHT be installing them on my car this spring.

Stock stalls are usually around 17-1800. I wanted a 2500 stall but turns out I can reuse my ~2200 stall.
Not buying converter > paying $270 for a 2500 stall.

$200 will provide much more improvements through the rest of the car. Next fuel filter, rear sway bar bushings, I might even consider shocks

brian you at least need to put the SS wheels on the car long enough to get some pictures.

today I was motivated and I decided to investigate what it would take to fix the large dent on the passenger rocker. The dent was too big to push or pull out so I ended up making a door to bang the panel back into shape.
Again this car amazes me at how clean the rocker panel is for being 17 years old.

Then I welded the rocker shut again, and performed some body work. A little more sanding it it is ready for primer.

This how the car looked when I picked it up flat tire and all. It was a pretty good hit as it cracked a portion of the fiberglass on the lower door. The rocker was forced up and it was conttacting the door.
