• ^^ Thanks Joe....

Now that the AC is gone, had to make the make some areas less ugly. Specifically where the dryer lines were connected.

Using another block (thanks again bri2203) as a template, dropped it off to my machine guy and walla...fixed. Half thinking paint for both blocks for even less visibility.

            • Sneakin up on it...

Would have been running BUT, the damn serpentine belt is too short now and the vac belt is too long Aaaaand, I have to rework the steam vent hose (longer) back to the radiator because the new pump naturally interfere's with it.

Had the oil fill cap drilled and tapped to accept the vacuum regulator.

              Been sitting awhile

I've got a pretty decent foundation as my black '01 SS M6 has only 16k on the clock. Previous motor was tweaked by Lingenfelter in the form of heads, cam, etc. Car was primarily weekend warrior rolling on 18" Simmons "F" Series 3pc wheels and Eibach Pro's with Bilsteins made it sit nice .

Wanting to change things up a bit, I sold off the big-ticket items in the motor and wheels/tires. Off course I had big plans and intended on replacing everything with bigger, shinier - had a 403 ready BUT SOLD IT TOO ...blah, blah, blah, anyway didn't, couldn't, 5 years later, here we are. No motor, rolling on salad shooters. Nice.

                          On to the good stuff....

Addicted to both power and bling I've been stock piling misc parts over the past couple months with a purpose in mind while I pursued and researched how and with what would I replace my 'big-ticket' items with. Some of these parts include:

                          UMI K-member
UMI Upper and lower control arms
                          Meziere water pump...shiny
                          LS7 Fuel Rails...also shiny
                          LS7 Fast intake...see a trend?
                          CTS-V brakes

Build process has started for the really good stuff...

                          RHS 460 by Virginia Speed
18" Fikse Profil 5s (9.5 and 11) in Dark Speed Silver

Prior to the tear down we were members of the WMCC and loved the camaraderie that is all too common in the fbody community. I (we...wife and I) look forward to coming out to play with our fellow fboder's once again soon!!

I will be sure to add project pics as the process rolls along....so please stay tuned. If I finally finish this thing, it should be pretty cool....
You have come along way! Looking great and nice work!
