FWIW, IMHO, you should deffinately go with a wider tire. Those look to skinny. I have 17x9.5 and run a 275 on front and a 285 on the rear and they fit perfect for that size rim. I would go with a 275 on an 8 inch rim. Eric L

Oh, and could you get away with a smaller spacer if you were to hammer the inners a little bit? FWIW, the bolt pattern is the same between the 3rd and 4th gens. The spacers are made like that so that you dont have to buy longer wheel studs. But if it were me, I would try to tuck those wheels in as far as you can. They seem to stick out to much. Yeah I think that is what I am going to attempt to do Eric, 275's in the back would make it look much better even with the 2 inch spacers. But I may keep an eye out for a deal on some smaller spacers. If anyone sees anything lmk.

I haven't had any issues with Sam's monte, and that whole frame, as well as the smooth metal above the pumpkin is ALL POR-15. Haven't had any issues and it looks great.

kinda spur of the moment deal. I needed tires really bad and there have some great tread on them. They aren't exactly what I wanted but I got a deal I don't think I could have passed up. A little work these will look great and much better then stock. I am still looking for a good deal on chrome irocs. These will do for now.

if you ever do sell these how much would you be looking to get out of them? i know it seem kinda selfish, but i only ask because i love these wheels.

So no update in a while, I should have a few boxes of parts waiting at my doorstep when I get off work at 5PM that is of course if UPS delivers them soon! If thats the case then screw HW and I will be working on the car so maybe some progress tonight.

Worked on car! Car received new Brake pads, Rotors/hubs, wheel bearings and 1.5 inch spacers in the rear. Car stops straight with no pulsing in the pedal (had warped rotors I am assuming), and best of all no MORE RUBBING of the rear tires Thanks Sean and Brian for telling me that will fix the problem. The tires also moved in quite a bit too I think it looks much better. I will get a picture of it today, or on my lunch break.

I did scrap up my font GFX pretty good last night so I bought some paint to touch that up and will touch that up later.

Yes the progress is but I already see a lot of things that didnt work out so well, oh well! Its still looking better then it once did. But I will get pics up as soon as I leave this place called work!
