        • Went and picked my car up on lunch today! Looks good no more runs in the paint and the few blemishes on the front end were taken car of as well. Overall I am happy with the work I had done and think it does not look bad at all for a summer DD and a thirdgen! I stopped at my old High School to snap a few pics, it was sprinkling a little so I hurried and got home before the rain came but now its sunny outside oh well. Heres the pics I took real fast:

A quick picture of the radio I bought of off Brian installed in the car.

Now I gotta invest into some nice car wash and detail supplies... Any suggestions? Also start reading on how to take care of a some nice paint...

                • His pics are big because they're not hosted on MiFbody's server as attachments.

If you right click your image and select "Open image in new tab" or something to that effect, it will give you the URL to the image but with http://www.mifbody.com/vbulletin/att...9&d=1270573931&thumb=1 at the end of the image URL. Remove the &thumb=1 so it's just http://www.mifbody.com/vbulletin/att...9&d=1270573931 and then put your image tags around it:

                        • I was just looking through some pics of the progress and thought to myself that "wow" this really has come a long way from where I started. I cant wait to compare a before and after pic once the stripes are back on but in the meantime look at the three stages of progress...

This is getting started on body work
                          100_1285..JPG
New hood installed and body work done, mostly in primer
                          100_1356..JPG
As it sits now when I picked it up. Next item is stripes and grill and misc parts.

Polish for getting rid of swirls, glaze, and some "pure" carnauba. Mothers or Meguiar's, your choice. I would only use regular waxes for quick touch-ups because they don't last. And solid wax lasts longer than liquid but it's harder to work with.

                              Used to own a Firebird.

I think it would look slick with a classy set of metallic maroon!
