Pics would be great! No rush, I won't be tackling this project until next week anyways, I have a bunch of other stuff to do before I'm ready for this one.

I was planning on mounting it in the recess at the passenger seat, was just curious as to how I should install it.

Painted, added two exhaust clamps in hopes of sealing it better. Wire is routed under the car up to the shifter area. Pretty close to the driveshaft but just out of the way. I still need to find a better way to secure that wire to the floorboard.

                • You know Nick. The last time I was at the junkyard your camaro still had the tops on it. Why not buy the roof off that car?

Definitely an idea, but I know they leaked when they were in the Camaro, I'd probably need new seals and weatherstrips as well. . . I'll have to see what he wants for them when I get back.

                    • I wonder what he would ask for the whole car. I am sure there are some other parts you might want, plus we could make ourselves a redneck convertible.

                      • That'd be kinda cool having a piece of the old car on the new one.

The "new" car actually has a TON of pieces of the old car in it. . . Seats, speakers, tires, Sirius tuner, and a couple of other things I can't think of. . . lol

                          • Started working on the car a little bit today, basically just got the battery charged up and took it out for a little while. I think I'm going to go out again in a little while. I'll probably start working on pulling the manifolds once I get the brakes fixed on the truck, hopefully have some progress pics up by Tuesday. I might just take a little time tomorrow to clean it up some, I have a claybar laying around here somewhere.

Should have the tires switched over and the new rims on the car this week. Hoping to have the headers on by the end of the week, as well as a couple of other "goodies", and I should be ready to cruise Woodward by the weekend, weather permitting, of course.

Thanks. I will be keeping this thread updated as I get more work done, but I will be starting to look for a job this week as well, so my estimated progress by the weekend may be a little. . . optimistic.
