don't know if you tore into the center counsel yet or not but it's simple. after the shifter handle is off take of the indicator plate and there should be a bolt in there or two and then there is one or two in the armrest/box thingy. then it comes right out. no messing with carpet at all.

Im not very knowledgeable when it comes to internals. But I do love the sound of a MS3 and MS4 in a LS1.
if you want a choppy idle but want to keep as much bottom end and midrange as possible, go with a cam that has a tight LSA but on the lower-end of duration... which would be exactly my cam

my tune is still FAR from perfect but i have great midrange torque - it is very fun to drive. I dont need to rev it to the moon to have fun.

check out my videos on youtube, but keep in mind i have a 650-700 idle. www.youtube.com/joeliusz28

                its a 226/234 @ 110 cam

If you want to go a little bigger id recommend the 230/238 which is still smaller than an 847.

otherwise you can go custom - but keep in mind just about everything but advanced induction grinds are OLD tech, have been around for years. People praise them because its what they know.... there is better out there though.

                      404: traction not found (lapeer)

but i did that with a 2.1 60 foot so go figure. My fuel pump was dying that day and again my tune is only a blind guess adjustment to the VE table. I ran 12.96 twice that day and im not sure if it was this pass or another but on one of them i completely lost power in 3rd due to no fuel pressure.... and thats when i started figuring out what was going on.

If i actually go to a real track, get a wideband and dial my tune in right, get some shocks that actually do something, and fix my fuel pump... im hoping for much better than i did that day.

Can you elaborate a bit, i looked at it today, didn't see any clips or anything. How do you get the handle off? Is there a write up or anything?

That is so good info, sounds like exactly what i want, is it a custom grind? What am I looking for price wise with a entire cam swap, using stock heads and intake?

Meissen said they only made the color in 93 with around 4,900 of them ever made in this color.

Did a little work today. Think I need a new elbow?

Well i took random live wires out, a lot of it was from my wiring kit I put in when i owned it.

What the engine bay looks like with 4 less power wires and a couple grounds.

                            here you go:

                            http://www.advancedinduction.com/AiProductsCK.html

AI grinds every cam they sell, that site has some of their "preset" ones that they have developed.

The price is on that page and the kit includes MOST of the items you need for a swap. One of the things i remember having to get in addition was a timing chain.

Im not saying you have to go with advanced induction by any means, but they do have newer stuff that has been making good numbers and i found it hard to beat their prices regardless. I personally recommend either something from them or something that is straight custom ground to your needs.

I chose my cam because there is a guy with a VERY close grind to the 226/234 making 370rwhp, with all the mods I have. (no headwork) You wont see that out of a 503.

glad you got the car back!

I think the stock color with a bit more metallic or a color shift would be cool.

any way you go it will be great to see it returned to get the attention it deserves.
