Yeah, he sure trashed it. Pretty sad considering the shape it was in the "Before" pictures. Good luck on fixing it and my vote would be to keep it stock color. It's rare and unique.

Yeah its not as big as Milan but the track prep is just as good and you can easily get 10+ runs in.

Thanks! I sure will. Well, I want a real choppy idle but i dont want to have to worry about the bottom end. So i was looking at the GM847 but it has like a 6100 to 6400 powerband or something like that. Which from what I have heard it is pushing it for LT1 bottom end.

Im not very knowledgeable when it comes to internals. But I do love the sound of a MS3 and MS4 in a LS1.

Here is a couple of pictures of last night.

We couldn't resist taking the seats out to see what the carpet looked like. Not too bad for the seats not being pulled in 2 years.

Nothing like going with a huge cam right off the bat, eh? Though I don't blame you - I wouldn't mind changing my CC503 for a GM847.

You have your work cut out for you. But a great project with it being your first camaro. I would stick with the stock color, you never see that color on Camaro's and I really like it!

I love the cc503 - I bought it thinking it was the "biggest cam" I could go with. Later I realized I could have done the GM847 if I would've just had some more port work done on the heads. I haven't really done the research on the 847 so I probably would've needed a different set of springs but otherwise if you're doing a cam swap with ported heads, you might as well go with the biggest cam you'd ever want IMHO.

THAT SAID - The CC503 is sweet and a proven performer. Steve tuned my car and he got the tune exactly where I wanted it for the idle. Power is excellent, drivability is perfect, there's nothing that I don't like with the CC503, really.

I mostly just say I want the GM847 because of it being such a big cam - in reality the CC503 is pretty much the best cam for my practically-daily-driver needs without sacrificing down low power.

I've got a ton of vids at http://www.youtube.com/mifbody

Pretty much While I'm not worried about being the fastest car out there with the biggest horsepower, I love modding my cars and getting bigger/better... appearance and exterior is about all done except for a full body strip and repaint. All that leaves me with is engine and suspension. "DARN!"

Yeah thats what i am leaning towards, since i have to repaint every body panel except 1 fender and 2 doors, i am just going to repaint it but leave it the same color so i dont have to do the door jambs or anything, i can just make a fine line tap line in the jamb, you wont even notice it. Hmm maybe ill bump up the metallic a bit....
